Membership has its privileges
KENNESAW, Ga. (July 2, 2013) -- If you are 50 and older and desire a place to meet other people, play games and learn, there is a place for you right at KSU Center. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) has a space designated for our valuable members. The OLLI Club Room is waiting for you.
You can make new friends and enjoy regularly scheduled activities in the OLLI Club Room. Feel free to sit and chat, check out a book from our library, or try out your new computer skills and surf the Internet. Membership privileges also include free coffee, a 10% discount on OLLI classes (restrictions apply), bridge and mah jongg, a monthly e-newsletter and group travel opportunities.
The room is open to members Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The room is closed during cases of inclement weather or if Kennesaw State University is closed.
Michelle Girage, director of programs, said, “Our members can’t get enough of our Club Room. They love meeting new people with similar interests. It’s a great way for our OLLI members to connect with others in our community.”
To schedule a tour or for more information, contact Girage at 770-499-3340 or mgirage1@kennesaw.edu. She said, “I look forward to showing you around!”
