Healthcare, Culinary, Technology and Paralegal are among more than 50 areas where students can earn professional certificates. Baker wanted to learn more about the Meeting and Event Management program. She plans to register for the next course which begins Sept. 26.
The Career Training Expos, held twice annually, are free and open to the public. Sessions are held throughout the night at KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Drive. Program directors and managers, instructors and graduates are all available that night. They discuss the structure, requirements and expectations of the program and answer questions from prospective students.
Seven new programs will begin this fall. The title and start dates are as follows:
- Android App Development: Aug. 17
- Pedorthist: Sept. 9 and Oct. 7
- Health Coaching: Sept. 9
- Basic Office Technology: Sept. 10
- Real Estate Property Management: Oct. 5
- Social Media Marketing: Oct. 14
- Medical Assisting: Oct. 14
