OLLI offers variety of art classes
KENNESAW, Ga. (August 13, 2013) -- Let the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) help you tap into your creative side with art classes. From pencil and ink drawings to watercolor, we offer a variety of options for you to express your originality in a fun way.
Pencil, Pen & Ink Drawing has beginning and intermediate/advanced levels. Believe it or not, everyone can learn how to draw! Start with the basic steps and improve your skills with techniques for blending and shading. Soon you will be able to create cards for friends, family and more!
Ready for a little more color? Beginning Watercolor will teach you the basics. From preparing the paper to mixing colors and techniques, you will emerge from this class with a collection of pieces, including watercolors from a still life or your own reference photographs. Watercolor from the Masters will explore legendary artists, combining techniques and a bit of history!
Have you ever wanted to capture your vacation moments in a unique way? Painted Vacations in Water Media will allow you to create paintings inspired by their vacation or travel photos.
Our Calligraphy-The Beautiful Art of Writing course is another way to be creative through your printed words. Learn the basics and complete the course with an original calligraphic design.
