Become an OLLI Scholar

It’s hard to imagine going an entire day without using a computer in some form. Employers list computer skills as the No. 1 trait they look for in candidates. Even if you’re not working or looking for a job, possessing strong computer knowledge will assist you in all walks of life.

Your friends at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) have designed five foundation courses to help you become more computer proficient. Each course builds upon what the previous course has presented. Completion of all five courses within one year will earn your certificate. If you're new to computers, we suggest taking Let’s Begin With Computers before starting the OLLI Scholar Certificate.

Upcoming Courses:
All courses are instructed by Lynne Mock, an engineer with more than 30 years of teaching experience. By completing all five, you will earn “OLLI Scholar” status and receive your certificate.

Designed for students age 50+, OLLI courses allow you to join your peers and learn at your own pace in a friendly and comfortable environment. The OLLI computer lab is limited to 12 students, making it easy to have instructor access for support. You may not have grown up during the computer age, but it’s never too late to get started!
