OLLI’s eBay classes help you profit from decluttering
Do you have way too much stuff and nowhere to put it? Perhaps some of those never-used items are valuable. We’ve all heard the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” If you’re looking for a new hobby or possibly a new career, eBay could be the perfect solution. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is excited to provide several different eBay classes to assist you. James Daniel, OLLI eBay instructor, said he started selling on eBay as a method to help his wife get rid of the items she had accumulated due to her “passion for shopping.”
Daniel further explained, “After beginning to sell on eBay, it quickly became a huge success and started to demand more of my time. At that point, we decided to sell on eBay full time.”
Boasting more than 300 million members, eBay’s user-friendly service allows you to sell as a hobby with the potential of growing it into a lucrative business.
“People wanting to get rid of items around the house, retirees looking for a second career, small business owners searching for new marketing venues, entrepreneurs wanting to start a new business, and anyone seeking an additional source of income would benefit from selling on eBay,” Daniel said.
Upcoming OLLI eBay courses:
- Sourcing Products for eBay— March 27
- Basics of eBay Selling— April 9 & 10
- eBay Stores 101— May 6 & 7
Daniel also teaches a Beginning Selling on Amazon course. Read more about that class, which begins April 29, on our website.
