Do you find it difficult to complete a day without using a computer? If so, OLLI’s program of five foundation courses is designed to help you become more computer proficient. Each course builds upon what the previous course has taught. Completion of all five courses within one year will earn your certificate. If you are a computer novice, we suggest taking Let’s Begin With Computers before beginning the OLLI Scholar Computer Certificate.
Upcoming Courses:
- Introduction to PCs– July 7 & 8 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
- Internet and Email Savvy– June 10 & 11 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
- Windows 7– June 17 & 18 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Microsoft Word– August 25 & 26 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Easy Steps to Safeguard Your Computer– August 28 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Designed for students age 50+, OLLI courses allow you to join your peers and learn at your own pace in a friendly and comfortable environment. The OLLI computer lab is limited to 12 students, making it easy to have instructor access for support. You may not have grown up during the computer age, but it’s never too late to get started!
