Free expo to spotlight 50+ programs, provide career coaching
KENNESAW, Ga. (June 23, 2014) – Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education will host a free Career Training Expo at KSU Center on Thursday, July 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event will allow visitors the opportunity to invest in themselves by attending several information sessions covering multiple industries.“Our mission is to educate and empower people with the ultimate goal of personal growth,” said Barbara Calhoun, dean, College of Continuing and Professional Education. “We are proud to produce and host events like these to assist those desiring to re-enter the workforce, change careers or advance in their current position.”
The Expo will feature more than 50 professional certificate programs, allowing attendees to meet instructors and recent graduates at the information sessions. Additionally, the main session will provide further insight into the offerings with program representatives available to field questions.
Master career coach John Long returns to lead sessions on interviewing and personal branding. All attendees will receive a 5% discount coupon valid through Sept. 3, 2014. A student gift pack will be given for on-site course enrollments, and guests can also enter to win an iPad mini.
