That's why they call it 'Instant Piano'

It’s easy to become intimidated when you realize that a piano has more than 12,000 parts, 10,000 of which are moving, along with 88 keys.  Believe it or not, OLLI’s Instant Piano class can teach you to tickle the ivories in one three-hour class.

How? By using the chord system the pros use, as opposed to the tedious note reading, you will learn enough to play most songs. You will also become privy to insider secrets allowing you to perfect your technique at home using an exclusive CD.

Details:

The course is instructed by Michael McMillan, a professional musician with more than 20 years of teaching and 40 years of playing experience.  His diverse musical background includes performing piano, keyboards, and vocals at clubs, concerts, weddings, USO tours and piano bars.

“You can learn enough in this workshop to play almost any song on the piano with two hands,” said Michelle Girage, program director. “Michael’s comprehensive experience provides a unique, real-world perspective to students."
