New classes, opportunities available at KSU

KENNESAW, Ga. (July 19, 2013) –Android App Development, Social Media Marketing, Medical Assisting and Real Estate Property Management are among the new classes that will be highlighted at a free Career Training Expo on July 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the College of Continuing and Professional Education at KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

This fall will mark the introduction of seven new certificate programs: 

• Android App Development 
• Social Media Marketing certificate 
• Pedorthist
• Health Coach
• Medical Assisting
• Real Estate Property Management
• Basic Office Technology

An information session for each of the new programs will be held that night. Additional sessions include Culinary, Paralegal, Personal Trainer, Pharmacy Technician, English as a Second Language, Human Resources, Administrative Professional, Meeting and Event Management, and Web Design.

Expo attendees will have direct access to program managers and directors, instructors, and current and former students. Financial aid information will also be available that night. Many programs qualify for the Workforce Investment Act and military education benefits.

Registration will be active during the expo. Attendees will receive a 5-percent discount on classes (some restrictions apply). Student gift packs will be given to all who register that night, and a drawing will also be held for an iPad mini.
